• The first can in an edition is free; each further one costs extra. The amounts are shown in the form next to this.
• Shipping is paid by the person ordering — a parcel locker in Poland or a parcel abroad.
• For shipping abroad I agree the cost with you by message.
• Payment is by bank transfer. The details are shown with the order and on the confirmation.
• Sending the can back after the exposure is at your own cost.

• Orders require an account — so that one free can per edition means one.
• The game runs in editions. When an edition runs out of cans, the form closes until the next one.
• At most five cans in a single order.
• The next edition is announced in the News section.

• Face it east, west or south. The can sees about 170°, so it catches a wide frame.
• Hang it out of reach of passers-by.
• Whatever you want in the picture — a house, a tree, a tower — should stand 5 to 20 metres from the can. Remember: it is never too close.
• In a busy place, camouflage the can so it does not catch the eye.

• Construction adhesive works best — it holds for months through rain and frost.
• Fix it to something that does not move: a wall, a post, a fence. Anything that sways will blur the image.
• The pinhole must face the direction you chose and must not be covered by anything — not tape, not a leaf.
• Once it is up, note the date. You will need it when you send the can back.
• The package contains a mounting instruction card — the same advice in pictures.

• The best time to mount it is around a solstice — winter or summer. The Sun sits at one extreme then and travels the other way for months afterwards.
• Expose for at least three months.
• Exposures running from one solstice to the next are the most interesting: over half a year the Sun moves from its lowest point to its highest, and the whole journey stays on one picture.

• Do not open the can and do not look inside. The light will hit the paper and the picture may not come out.
• Do not take it down and hang it somewhere else — the images would overlap.
• Do not cover the pinhole and do not check whether “it works”.
• There is no way to preview the result. That is part of the game.

It happens: the wind tears it off, someone takes it, sometimes water gets in. Write to me so I know that this one is not coming back. That is why it is worth hanging it where nobody will disturb it by accident.

• The return address is in the package together with the can — keep that card somewhere safe.
• Report the mounting and removal dates in the portal, on the SolarFun page next to your order — that is the surest way.
• If you did not report them in the portal, add a note with your name and both dates. Without them I do not know whose can it is or how long it was exposed.
• You can point at the place when reporting the mounting, or add it on the note — it goes under the picture and onto the map.
• Lost the address? Write to PINHOLOVE on Facebook, Instagram or by email and I will send it again.
• Pack the can so that it cannot open in transit.

• I open the can, scan the image and publish it on the SolarFun account together with the exposure time.
• The publication is signed with your first name and the initial of your surname. If you would rather stay unnamed, write that on the note you send back with the can.
• I send you the file in the best quality to the email address from your order.
• The location is optional. If you would rather not give it, I publish the picture without a place — it then does not appear on the map and nobody learns where the can hung.
• Sometimes nothing comes out — the paper got wet, the pinhole clogged, the can leaked. That is the risk of this game and it cannot be ruled out.

• The picture is your work. You can do whatever you want with it — I publish it on the SolarFun account as part of the project.
• The data from your order is used only to send the parcel and to contact you about it. Details are in the privacy policy.
