1Who processes your data

The data controller is PINHOLOVE (Dawid Rycąbel), operating the SolarMap service (solarmap.pinholove.com, solarmap-41cfe.web.app) and the Solarigrafia.app portal. Both services share the same user account and the same database.

2What data we collect

• Email address and username (upon registration)
• GPS location data (only when you add a can and grant permission)
• Photos you upload
• Content you publish (publications, SolarChat posts, comments)
• IP address and technical data processed by Google Firebase only as needed to serve requests (authentication, database, files)
• When ordering a calendar: name, email address, phone number and the parcel locker or shipping address, plus your message if you add one

3For what purpose

• Running your user account
• Showing your cans on the map (only if you choose the public option)
• Sending reminders about your cans (only if you enable it)
• Fulfilling calendar orders and contacting you about the shipment
• Improving the app and the portal

4Where we store data

Data is stored on Google Firebase servers. The database (Firestore) is located in Europe, in the europe-west3 region (Frankfurt). Photos and other files (Storage) are stored in the us-central1 region (Iowa, USA). Google Firebase is GDPR compliant.

5How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as the account exists. Deleting the account erases it IMMEDIATELY and irreversibly — there is no grace period and no backup to restore it from. Solarcans, photos, publications, comments, likes and forum posts all go with it. Calendar order data lives separately, because you can order without an account: it is deleted a year after dispatch, or earlier if you ask.

6Who we pass data to

The details needed to deliver a parcel — name, phone number and the chosen parcel locker or address — are passed to the carrier handling the shipment. Without them the parcel cannot be sent. Apart from that one case we pass data to no one; Google Firebase, on which the service runs, is a processor rather than a recipient of your data.

7Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data. You can delete the account yourself in the SolarMap app: side menu → “Delete account”. Deletion covers portal data too, since both services share one account. For anything else, write to us.

We use only the essential cookies required for the service to work (login session, chosen language). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
